Associating Permissions to a Role

You can associate permissions with roles. On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click  on the Users menu to expand it.
  2. Click User Roles.
  3. Click next to a standard or custom role listed in the Roles section.
  4. Click the check boxes next to the permissions you want to associate with the role.

    or

    Clear the check boxes next to the permissions you do not want to associate with the role.

Top level (or parent) permissions are marked with . Click the check box next to a to associate all the parent’s sub-permissions with the role.
or
Click next to a parent permission to display its sub-permissions, then click or clear the check boxes of each sub-permission individually.

  1. Click Save.
